The Department of Computer Applications was initiated in the year 2006 to delve into the world of Computer Languages. The Department aims to develop academically competent and professionally motivated personnel, equipped with objective and critical thinking that compassionately foster the scientific temper with a sense of social responsibility. To achieve this, the students are exposed to various areas of computer applications including the latest developments in the industry.
The Department has a team of distinguished, dynamic, young, and dedicated staff members with specialization in wider areas to provide teaching, guidance, inspiration, and motivation that make students excel in the IT field. The teachers understand the strengths and weaknesses of each and every student, and help them in their journey of building their careers.
Well-organized Lab facilities with required software & hardware will help students to have hands-on training and groom them ready for the corporate world. The department also holds a creditable placement record. The Department is well balanced with extra & co-curricular activities, which include workshops, lectures, seminars, international conferences, symposia, etc. organized by the faculty. This also instigates research interest among students.
