FIDE Chess Tournament – “Chess is the struggle against the error.”
The Student Council coordinated the International FIDE Rapid & Blitz Chess Tournament, sponsored
by GRT, AICF and TNSCA. The council also conducted the inaugural Flashmob, in which Super Singer Star Aravind, was the guest of  honour. The event was conducted from 19th – 23rd of July, the
valediction being on the 23rd of July.
