In order to assess the students’ progression, two internal exams (I & II) and a Model exam are conducted every semester.
The duration and maximum marks for the internal exams are as follows:

The procedure for awarding internal marks for Theory and Practical examination are as follows:

Awarding Marks for Attendance (out of 5) Attendance below 60% = 0 marks, 61 % to 75% = 3 marks, 76 % to 90% = 4 marks and above 91%= 5 marks

University Semester Examination
University Semester Practical & Theory Exams happen in the month of October & November (Odd semester) and March & April (Even semester). Semester exams are conducted as per the Madras University’s time table & guidelines.
