Language and Communication skills are essential in order to deliver and understand information quickly and accurately. Being able to communicate effectively is a vital skill for a successful career. In a corporate environment, communication skills are needed to speak appropriately with a wide variety of people whilst maintaining good eye contact, demonstrating a varied vocabulary and tailoring the language to the audience, listening effectively, presenting ideas appropriately, writing clearly and concisely, and working well in a group. In SHASUN, the Placement cell and the English department have taken the initiative to give a lot of opportunities for our students to participate and thus improve their communication skills.
