The Centre of Excellence for Art & Culture in partnership with the National Skill Development Council, Govt of India, was launched by Shri Subhash Ghai, Eminent Filmmaker & MESC Chairman and Padma Bhushan Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam on November 14th, 2019 in Shasun College. Several dignitaries from the fields of Art, Culture, Media & Entertainment attended the event.

  • Sha-Kala Utsav 2018, the annual cultural extravanganza of Shasun Jain College held on January 30 at Kamaraj Arangam.

Bharateeya Ganathon – Creating a record for harmony through harmony!

Initiative for Moral and Cultural Training (IMCT), Chennai organized Bharateeya Ganathon, a group singing event on Saturday, 23 July, 2016 of nearly 15 songs in 7 different Indian languages for creating awareness of 6 precious values inherent in the Indian Tradition and reinforcing the same. An attempt at a Guinness record, it saw the participation of around 10,000 students from city schools and colleges.

The Chief Guests for the evening Padma Shri Smt Aruna Sairam and Padma Bhushan Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam  congratulated the singers for the melodious rendition and the organizers for the marathon effort. All participants were given certificates of participation in this momentous event.
