B.Com Honours is a program designed to impart knowledge on a wide range of subjects and prepare the students to understand the dynamism of the business world. B.Com Honours program was introduced in the year 2013 in our college, being one among the three colleges to provide the program under the University of Madras. The curriculum is designed in such a way that case study methodology is applied where it relates the concept to the real-life situation and the department provides a platform to the students to get internship training at the end of each semester by the MOU companies which would enhance their practical knowledge.

Special features of the Program are as follows:
- 14 weeks Internship during the course to get hands-on industry experience.
- Guest Lectures from industry people to update the happenings of the industry to the students.
- The Department has signed an MoU with many companies like Cavinkare P Ltd., Loyal Textiles, ANOVA Corporate Service Pvt. Ltd., Life Cell International Pvt. Ltd., Visionary RCM Inc. Pvt. Ltd., Martin Associates, etc.
- Industrial visits will provide a practical real-world perspective on different functions in organisations to the students.
- Wide range of subjects including Research Methodology, Business Statistics & Operational Research, Accounting Standards, Computer Applications in Business, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Financial Management, Security Analysis, and Portfolio Management, etc.
- Students will undertake an individual research project during the final semester.
