Shri Shankarlal Sundarbai Shasun Jain College for Women inculcates a rich research culture among its faculty and scholars.The Commerce and Computer departments are recognized as research departments to conduct M.Phil by University of Madras.
Knowledge Economy, a biannual peer reviewed journal is published by our Institution. Knowledge Economy is registered under RNI and ISSN 2231- 2854 and brought out regularly since March 2010.It is assigned E-ISSN 2581- 7183 in 2018.

Objectives
- To create an enabling environment within the College in order to foster a research culture as well as provide required support through research framework and guidelines.
- To ensure a high level of efficient and effective support system to facilitate faculty and researchers in their research activities.
- To create awareness and opportunities in R&D among the students and faculty and to create research culture in every department.
- To undertake research activities and development projects offered by agencies such as NCW, ICSSR and other funding agencies.
