Shasun Jain College in its journey of achieving holistic development, has a competitive wing named SWEEP – Shasun Women Empowerment through Excellent Performance which aims at making leaders with its motto “Leaders are made and not born”.
SWEEP trains the students to prepare for their UPSC & TNPSC Preliminary examination.
SCALE –Shasun Civil Aspirants Leadership Empowerment program is Shasuns’ BHAG project that aims at creating 25 bureaucrats by the year 2025.
In this process, Shasun has tied up with Kingmakers IAS Academy. The Institution has decided to support the top 3 aspirants with an amount of rupees 10 lakh per student after proper screening .More than 75 students including 40 alumni have registered and are taking up the screening test. As a first step to create an awareness in the aspirants, an awareness session “Become an Efficient Bureaucrat” was organized in the campus on 21.02.21. Shri.Vivek Harinarain IAS(R) (Director – Personality Development Program), Prof.Sathyashree Boominathan (Chairman and Managing Director) and Sri.Aman Kumar Dubey (Faculty ,Management ,Kingmakers IAS Academy) were present in the campus to motivate the aspirants.
The process was completed in May 2021 and exclusive training has been commenced to the selected aspirants Ms.Umadevi, Dept of Psychology, Ms.Mira ,Dept of Mathematics and Ms.Bhargavi , Dept of Commerce.
